The Mafia series is one of the best, but Mafia 2 has been getting mixed reviews. The game has received harsh criticism for many different reasons. It's not an easy game to get into, and it can take its time to get used to. However, if you are willing to make the slog through this challenging game, there are benefits that await you in Mafia 2 Joe's Adventures DLC. This is a free DLC pack that adds a new mission for players who have completed the main story line of Hitman: Absolution A House Built on Sand. This DLC takes place in the Red Stone District of New Bordeaux, giving players more of a chance to experience the city that it's creator wanted to create. The new mission, titled "Joe's Adventures" is an homage to the first game's Cosa Nostra missions. Players will accompany Joe as he explores this different side of New Bordeaux. Players will be able to refill their health and ammo supply. As Joe searches for witnesses for this new DLC mission, players will find various collectibles along the way. The collectibles will help fill in some of the gaps left behind by the main game. The story that this DLC is based around is kind of hard to follow. Joe has no reason for helping Sal Marcano, and the game does very little to explain anything that's going on. The ending of this DLC is also very disappointing, but overall, it's more of an experience than just a story. However, if you are interested in exploring New Bordeaux even more than you already have with your main game, this DLC pack will do very little for you.
